See photos below.
This event was also reported in th Fall 2001 issue of the 'Ontario Mason'.

AMALGAMATION WITH TEESWATER LODGE NO 276 GRC
On June 3, 2003 the Grand Master, Most Worshipful Brother Terry Shand, of the Grand Lodge AF & AM of Canada in the Province of Ontario, presided at the oficial amalgamation of Teeswater Lodge No 276 GRC with Wingham Lodge No 286 GRC.  The ceremony took place in the Wingham Lodge Hall before a large number of Freemasons and Grand Lodge Officers from throughout Ontario.
Regrettably, Teeswater Lodge, which had kept operating for several years as the smallest lodge in Ontario, was unable to keep going because of a declining pool of potential candidatesin their area.
However, by joining with Wingham Lodge it is expected that the history and memories of Teeswater Lodge will be kept alive locally, along with their community programmes.  Also, their members cannot help but invigorateWingham Lodge with renewed enthusiasm.
