After a brief meeting of the Committee of General Purposes, the Lodge was called to order at 8.00 PM. Bro Kevin Pletch was very well prepared and therefore raised to the Third Degree according to ritual. Participating in this degree was W Bro Fred Lewis, an inspiration to all at 90 years young, as he performed several pages of work impeccably. Three other brothers, only slightly younger than Fred, also aquitted themselves admirably
The evening concluded with another turkey repast and fellowship in the banquet room. It was good to see the number of Teeswater brethren who managed to attend this meeting.

FEBRUARY MEETING
Unfortunately the February meeting was cancelled because of blizzard like weather. Despite this, five determined brethren managed to make it to the lodge, despite radio announcements, etc.
MARCH 07 2006 REGULAR MEETING
This was indeed an auspicious occasion in the history of Wingham Lodge. It was our annual PM's Night at which we traditionally serve a pancakes and sausages supper prior to the meeting.
On this particular evening we were joined at the informal meal by the MW Grand Master Gary Atkinson and several Grand Lodge Officers.
Later, within the lodge with our PM's in the chairs, the Grand Master presented a surprised VW Bro Gordon Leggatt with his 50-year Past Master Service Pin. He also presented 25-year PM Pins to eleven of sixteen Past Masters and affiliates of Wingham Lodge who were eligible. The total service time of all Wingham PM's exceeds 900 years - a great depth of experience!
Many of the large number of Masons, PM's, Grand Lodge Officers and Members of the Board who were in attendance spoke to express their appreciation for VW Bro Leggatt and the other PM honorees as well the opportunity to attend. The MW Grand Master gave a particularly fine address, zeroing in on the need to support our older members and particularly those in distress.
After lodge was closed, everyone repaired to the banquet room for cake and refreshments.

MARCH 15, 2006 EMERGENT MEETING
This meeting was held for the express purpose of having the sitting W Masters of N Huron District confer the Second Degree on a candidate supplied by Northern Light Lodge. However, before lodge, many of us enjoyed a Haggis Dinner (Postponed from our February meeting).
The Second Degree was conferred in an excellent manner by 12 sitting Masters and 1 IPM, after which everyone returned to the banquet room for more refreshments and entertainment and education by Bro Dave Wall, VW Bro Cliff Coultes and VW Bro Gordon Leggatt with W Bro Henderson acting as MC.

APRIL 04, 2006 REGULAR MEETING
This meeting was preceded by a Committee of General purposes. Lodge opened as usual and after the business was completed, the line officers 'stepped up' to the office above. Bro Allen MacDonald then led them in openings and closings in the Second and Third Degrees, which was very competently done.
With two Blyth Lodge visitors acting as Scrutineers, Brother Allen MacDonald was elected and proclaimed WM-elect. Other officers who will advance are Bro John Combe to Sr Deacon and Bro David Wall to Jr Deacon. The complete list of new officers will be published after Installation and Investiture on May 2nd. The Installing Master will be W Bro Row Croskill.
MAY 2, 2006 MEETING
This meeting was mainly given over to our Annual Installation and Investiture ceremonies.
W Bro Row Croskill consented to be Installing Master and assembled a fine Board for the occasion. Practice, preparation and some last minute substitutions led to a smooth and enjoyable ceremony, which left plenty of time for socializing afterwards. RW Bro Denis Langridge's closing charge once again merited a standing ovation.
Their labours of the evening being ended, two groups of brethren enjoy some licensed pleasure.

SUFFOLK LODGE NO 69 GRNY
On Thursday April 19 W Bro Iain Henderson paid a fraternal visit to Suffolk Lodge No 60 F & AM of New York. This lodge was warranted in 1796 and is located in Port Jefferson, Long Island New York. W Bro Henderson met with the current Worshipful Master and other members of Suffolk Lodge September 2003 in France and was fulfiling a long standing promise to visit.
He was very warmly received and enjoyed witnessing five brethren being raised to the Third Degree - an impressive and well presented ceremony.
We certainly hope that some brethren from Suffolk Lodge will visit with us in Wingham in the not to distant future.

NOVEMBER 7, 2006 MEETING
This was a quiet meeting with no degree work. However the lodge did ballot favourably on accepting another applicant, which means that we now have two candidates! The first will be initiated at our regular meeting in December, after our Turkey Supper.
We also enjoyed the company of our DDGM RW Bro Larry Harper on a fraternal visit. The District Education Chairman W Bro Jack Nancekevill provided us with some interesting Masonic education which was well received by the brethren.
It should also be noted here that seven members supported the Worshipful Master by travelling to Forest Lodge Nov 13, on the occasion of their Official Visit by the DDGM. Wingham Lodge brought home the Travelling Gavel as a result!
We also witnessed an interesting presentation relating to the formation of both Forest Lodge and Bernard Lodge, who shared the same first Worshipful Master.
DECEMBER 5, 2006 MEETING
Before this meeting, the brethren and some visitors enjoyed a sumptious Christmas Turkey Dinner. The bird was donated by W Bro Archie MacGowan and the accompanying vegeatables and desserts came from many other members. Brother David Wall and W Bro Fred McGee did a wonderful job of cooking the bird and presenting the complete meal, as well as clearing up afterwards.
A quick meeting of the Committee of General Purposes preceded the regular meeting.
Included in the correspondence was an application for membership, arising from our successful 'Friend to Friend' evening and we are hoping for yet another.
Wingham Lodge has been successful in winning the 'N. Huron Travelling Gavel' twice in a row. Some of us will be travelling with it and our Worshipful Master to Kincardine on Dec 6th.
After the regular business was completed, Mr James King was initiated into the Craft, becoming the newest member of Wingham Lodge

OCTOBER 3, 2006 MEETING
This was the occasion of the Official Visit of our DDGM RW Bro Larry Harper. He was accompanied by both Grand Stewards of N Huron District, VW Bro Dereck Ward and VW Bro Norman Ross and the District Secretary, VW Bro Clifford Coultes.
Many members of Wingham Lodge were in attendance as well as six sitting Worshipful Masters and members of most lodges in our district. W Bro Jack Stanley brought greetings from Mt Zion Lodge No 120 in BC.
The highlights of the evening were the presentation of the District Blood Donors Trophy once again to Wingham Lodge. Accepting on behalf of the Lodge was our Blood Donor Chair, W Bro Archie MacGowan
The DDGM also presnted W Bro Boris Milosevic with his 50-year service pin. W Bro Boris received a standing ovation as well as numerous congratulations after lodge was closed.
